TOWIE's Tommy Mallet has said he's not sorry for being rude to Ferne McCann in the moist recent episode.

On Sunday night's instalment we saw Tommy telling Ferne to stay out of his relationship with Georgia, then going one step further by branding her "loose" – something which Ferne called character defamation.

Speaking to the TOWIE official website, Tommy said he's not going to apologise for what he said as he was just defending Georgia.

"I was rude to Ferne. I told her a few home truths. Am I sorry? No. She slated me, she upset my girlfriend so I told her about herself," he said.

"At the end of the day, I did it to stick up for my girlfriend. I will never be sorry about it, that's it."

The trouble stemmed from an incident in Marbella where Georgia was left feeling upset following a night with the girls. Tommy accused Ferne of badmouthing him and making his girlfriend feel bad.

Tommy confornted Ferne in the last episode.

Tommy added: "I thought I was close to Ferne. I answered her back and she didn't like it. I don't know if I went the right way calling her lose and all that sort of stuff, but if I think it, I will say it. I don't care what anybody thinks about me.

"I don't feel good about myself at the minute. I feel like I have a lot of stress around me. I don't need Ferne in my life talking about me. Keep your nose out. Every day, for people to say I'm horrible, aggressive, this and that, it isn't nice. It's something you lose sleep over, that being said to people you love.

"It's like saying I have no morals and I'm a rude person. And I'm not. If you do something to me I'll be mega rude, if you don't, I'll be a gentleman. So I'm struggling with it, to be honest with you."

TOWIE continues tonight at 10pm on ITVBe.
