"That was my whole idea to go on Made In Chelsea and to use it as a platform for other things," he explains. "I've always wanted to be a presenter and go down that route and it's just about finding the avenue. That's a dream to have a standalone series."

Ever since appearing on MIC in the second series, Jamie has tried to use the show a stepping stone in his career.

"I mean, there's always a time when you think the time is right and you feel you should go, but I'm also incredibly loyal and I think this show is great. When the time's right, I'll go, but we'll see when that is."

If and when Jamie does turn his hands to presenting, what kind of show would he do?

"I want to do some great things and I want to make a difference," he says. "I want to do some stuff that's super fun, super funny and great. Send me to Alaska with no money, we'll do that, just something that's fun and interesting and entertaining for everyone."

Jamie Laing and TravelSupermarket have teamed up to launch the #CheckoutToCheckin summer competition, offering people the chance to win a luxury holiday by covering a shift in a Mexican supermarket. To enter visit www.travelsupermarket.com.
