Adam Lambert performs Ghost Town in East London in stunning video
A dilapidated rooftop warehouse in east London isn't where you'd expect to stumble across a huge pop star. But for Adam Lambert it was the perfect place to perform his single 'Ghost Town' off of his newly released album 'The Original High' which has already reached number four in the charts!
The unusual location choice makes a lot more sense when Adam describes the meaning behind the track: "Ghost Town is this statement that says, 'I thought I knew what I wanted, I thought I knew who I was, but now I feel empty and lost.' That's the starting point of the album and the journey we go on."
Yep, it's a lot easier to convey that "empty and lost" feeling surrounded by flaking wallpaper, but that doesn't mean Adam eschewed glamour altogether. For a start, his stunning voice oozes decadence, and a few dancers were on hand to give the performance a music video feel.
Adam called this album "the best I've done" and if you take a listen to this track you'll find out why!
