Rochelle, who is one fifth of girl group The Saturdays, could be set to replace Sarah-Jane Crawford on X Factor's spin-off show on ITV2.
Having presented for This Morning, been a team captain on Sweat The Small Stuff, and more recently Ninja Warrior UK, Rochelle is looking life the perfect replacement.
A source told The Sun that "Rochelle is one of the leading contenders".
They added: "She's got a lot of presenting experience, she's funny and likeable and knows how the pop game works."
According to the newspaper, Big Brother star Brian Dowling and KISS FM DJ Melvin Odoom, have also auditioned for the job.
Last year's host Sarah-Jane announced last month that she would not be returning for a second year. Meanwhile, over on the main show, Caroline Flack and Olly Murs will be co-hosts.
In terms of the judging panel, it's widely expected that Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will both return, while it's thought Louis Walsh and Mel B will not.
