Shockwaves were sent through the villa after one of the guys received a text with Love Island's latest bombshell.
In a new twist, two boys will see their time on the dating show come to an end as the contestants are set to recouple. Interesting...
Throughout their time on the show each guy and girl has been given a phone where they can send messages to one another as well as receive messages giving them the latest on what's going on in the villa.
In tonight's episode, Omar Sultani (a 23-year-old from Leamington Spa) will reveal the nerve-wracking news to the group by reading out a text he has been sent.
It says: "I got a text [that said] In the next 48 hours, there will be a recoupling. The two boys not in a couple at that point will be dumped from the Island. #getbusy."
Not surprisingly, panic soon sets in and the boy's begin fearing for their spot in the villa.
Already coupled up from the show's launch, the six original boys Omar, Jonathan Clark, Joshua Ritchie, Luis Morrison, Jordan Ring and Chris Williamson will be fighting to keep the girls they have been paired up with, while Love Island newbies, identical twins John and Tony Alberti, will be doing all they can to steal a lady away for themselves to keep their place on the show.
Assessing the situation, Essex boy Jonathan shares some friendly advice to his co-stars: "The people that are not happy in the couple, you've got to start pulling your fingers out. You've got two new lads that have topped up, right? I'm pretty sure that [they] ain't gonna hold back.
"You ain't gonna want to be kicked out in the next two days are you, you just got here. The rest of the lads - you need to start getting it on, and people need to start making lurrve..."
May the best man (or men should we say) win...
