The songstress has been cast as Holly Golightly, the iconic character made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film adaptation of Truman Capote's hit novel, that tells the story of a New York City party girl who lives alone with her cat, who is named 'Cat'.
Confirming the exciting news, Pixie posted a picture of herself posing outside the Theatre Royal in London. Wearing head-to-toe Dior, the Strictly star channeled old Hollywood glamour as she got to know her four-legged co-star.
Speaking about making her acting debut, the Strictly star revealed: "I absolutely love Holly's style, and free spirit; she has always been an icon to me and I can't wait to bring my own personality to the role."
The upcoming stage show will premiere at Leicester's Curve theatre in March 2016 before travelling to London's Theatre Royal in June.
