The former TOWIE star posed for a cute snap with baby Ella on Friday (29 May), and simply posted a heart emoticon beside the black and white snap.
And a smiling Dan shows no signs of discontent, despite the news that he is no longer in the running for icelolly.com's Celebrity Dad of the Year competition.
Dad-of-two Dan was up against the likes of David Beckham, Prince William, Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams and Peter Andre.
But reports this weekend show that Dan is no longer part of the comp after he was slammed by domestic abuse charity Women's Aid.
Earlier this year, a tape was leaked of Dan being abusive towards ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, with whom Dan has a son called Teddy.
Director of Women's Aid Hilary Fisher told The Sun: "We question the responsibility of nominating anyone for this award who may have been involved in a domestic abuse incident.
"Being abusive towards women - be that physically, emotionally, or verbally - are not qualities that make a good father."
Dan has apologised for the incident with his ex-girlfriend, saying: "I'm disgusted with myself."
He insists he has never been physically abusive towards a woman and says he isn't an "angry person".
Girlfriend and EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa also defended Dan saying: "I can assure you I wouldn't stand by a man capable of everything dan has been made out to be, he is my best friend, boyfriend...
"And he is a brilliant father, above all else, I just want to clear up, he has never once been violent or even show signs towards me at all.
"People selling stories on him, show one side to a story, but people around dan know the whole truth, and you would all be shocked."
On Friday, Dan's Instagram page was once again full of pictures of his gorgeous kids.
Alongside a photo of Teddy holding a dog-shaped balloon, Dan wrote: "Teddy's pet.. Lasted about 2 hours then he burst it!"
