Bruce Jenner will appear on the cover of Vanity Fair as a woman, according to reports.

While the Kardashian-Jenner patriarch has spoken openly about his transition from male to female, he has not yet appeared in public as a woman.

But soon, according to TMZ, the former Olympian athlete will grace the cover of the famous popular culture magazine as a female.

The news website also reveals that celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz will shoot the pictures.

Bruce, 65, will apparently unveil his new look on the magazine's cover this summer. If the rumours are true, the cover is set to be one of the most talked about ever.

Annie has photographed some of the most iconic celebrities in the world, including Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga, Adele and the Queen.

She also took the photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for Vogue last year.

Bruce was pictured with newly-dyed blonde hair earlier this week.

During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce special, the family spoke openly about his transition and revealed they call him by his new name - although they did not reveal what it was.

Kim recently described step-dad Bruce as a woman, saying "she is beautiful".
