Last month, Spencer debuted a very different look as he channeled his inner hipster with his new rugged image. Swapping his usual preened appearance for that of shaggy locks and a full grown beard, Spenny told fans he had become a "real man".
But it seems this real man is now heading back to his roots!
Taking to Instagram, Lauren shared a series of photos of boyfriend Spencer getting his beard seen too.
Capturing Spencer having his beard removed in several stages, she joked: "@spencermatthews guide to beards."
In her collage, her beau can first be seen having the sides of his beard shaven off, then opting for a goatee before getting rid of his excess chin hair to rock just a twirled moustache.
And we don't think we're the only ones hoping that Spenny's tash too got the chop!
We wonder if Lauren's views on Spencer's new look pushed the Chelsea boy into wanting a silky smooth jawline again. While he credited his facial hair for making him more manly, Lauren cheekily said it made Spencer look like Tom Hanks in Castaway!
Lauren's latest Instagram post comes after viewers recently watched her clashing with Spencer on Made In Chelsea.
During last night's episode of the E4 reality show, Lauren was left upset after Spencer chose to go skiing with BFF Jamie Laing and his ex-girlfriend Lucy Watson.
After hearing Spencer's plans to holiday with Lucy, Lauren sarcastically told her beau she would ring up her ex and jet off with him too. Spencer's reply: "If you want to behave like spoiled brat then I'll break up with you."
Hurt by Spencer's reaction, Lauren said: "Why would you say that? I don't know why as a friend she would want to break us up. It was humiliating. You are being completely unreasonable right now."
When Spencer first started dating Lauren, the couple were soon rocked by claims he had hit on Lucy while they were together. And since, Lauren and Lucy have not seen eye-to-eye.
Now, Spencer has decided he wants to be friends with Lucy again after not speaking to her for months and Lauren isn't so keen for the former flames to be back on friendly terms.
But will a chat with Lucy change her mind? A teaser at next week's episode shows the girls coming face-to-face for the first time since clashing.
Made In Chelsea continues Monday 1 June at 9pm on E4.
