Jasmin Walia has admitted she felt "frustrated" towards the end of her time in TOWIE, saying: "My storylines weren't getting followed up."

The gorgeous reality star is currently taking a break from the hit ITVBe show to focus on other projects and confesses in a new interview she felt she wasn't getting the screen time she deserved on the show although she understood why.

Jas said: "I was frustrated towards the end that my storylines weren't getting followed up. It's only natural that everyone wants to be featured as the main part of the show."

The 24-year-old said she would never fake storylines for airtime, saying that just isn't her style.

"I think some of the girls go far to make sure they are the ones getting the main airtime. I'm not fake like that. I wanted people to see the real me."

Jasmin also suggested that perhaps the fact she isn't romancing a cast member was another reason for lack of airtime: she's dating Ex on the Beach star Ross Worswick.

The starlet announced earlier this month she was taking a break from TOWIE, tweeting: "I would like to thank everyone involved with the show, producers, crew and cast."

A rep for the show told us: "As with any TOWIE cast member, their place in the show is always storyline dependent. Jasmin only appeared sporadically throughout the last series and therefore we felt it was better for her to take a break from the show."
