Bobby Norris had an emotional night celebrating his mum's recent stem cell transplant, alongside Jamie Laing.

Our favourite reality worlds collided on Saturday night, to celebrate blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan's 21st annual Daisy Ball held at Grosvenor House on Park Lane.

The event had a special place in Bobby's heart. When his mum needed a stem cell transplant, the TOWIE star launched an appeal to find a donor, and was "on cloud nine" when his quest was successful!

Thanks to Anthony Nolan, which matches donors to those needing transplants, Bobby was able to celebrate his own family's happy ending at the event, saying: "Tonight is really emotional for me. It's been nearly a year since we launched the appeal to find a donor for my mum and it's been a long road.

"To be able to celebrate tonight and raise a glass of champagne for her and say she's doing really well, is pure joy.

"Without Anthony Nolan and all those who raise funds at events like this, my mum might not be here."

Jamie Laing was also keen to raise awareness, saying: "I've had a brilliant evening and I hope that, by coming along tonight, I can show how much Anthony Nolan needs young men my age to join the register.

"Seeing Bobby so happy, after Anthony Nolan found a donor for his mum, has really brought it all home – that's why we're all here."

600 guests attending the black-tie event raised more than £160,000 which will enable the charity to recruit more stem cell donors to the register.
