One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has said he and former bandmate Zayn Malik have cleared the air following their clash on Twitter last week.

Zayn, who quit 1D in March, hit out at Louis who had been embroiled in a spat with Zayn's close friend, producer Naughty Boy.

Zayn had directly tweeted Louis, saying: "Remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?"

While appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, which marked 1D's first TV interview as a four-piece, Louis said there is no animosity between him and Zayn.

"There's been a bit of back and forth," Louis told James. "We're on good terms with him. I've never been very good at biting my tongue, maybe I get it off my mum, but it's just one of those things. Twitter's great for connecting with the fans but also if you feel like saying something that you probably shouldn't, it's also good for that as well, or bad, in this case."

When James grilled Louis on whether he has actually been in direct contact with Zayn since their clash, Louis replied: "Yeah it's all resolved. All good in the hood, James. No qualms."

Meanwhile, Naughty Boy appeared on Celebrity Juice yesterday and said he has "no problem" with Louis, even describing their past Twitter spats as "banter".

Naughty Boy also revealed that Zayn, who quit the band after five years, is yet to tell his side of the story on why he really quit.

The producer revealed: "Zayn's in a great place. Zayn left for his own personal reasons and one day people will know everything, right now's not the time."
