TOWIE star Gemma Collins will definitely be tuning into Big Brother this series as her good friend Aaron Frew will be starring on it.

Last night, 15 brand new housemates entered the Big Brother compound and among them was Gemma's pal Aaron.

Pleased to see a familiar face in the house, Gemma couldn't hide her excitement on Twitter, telling fans she is backing Aaron to be crowned the winner of Big Brother:Timebomb.

Who knew they were friends?!

Sharing a photo of herself and model Aaron together, Gemma tweeted: "He will win @AARON_FREW my money's on him such a beautiful boy x."

The 34-year-old even promised big things from her bestie, adding in another tweet: "Off to the bookies in the morning I know already @AARON_FREW is gonna tear the house up and win #aarontowin."

Well if he's pals with Gem, he's bound to be entertaining, right?

Not only has Aaron been rubbing shoulders with our TOWIE fave, but the 24-year-old from Northampton claims to know quite a few of Essex's finest and has a whole host of celebs on his radar thanks to his modelling credentials.

Ahead of going into the house, he said: "I am good friends with some of the people from TOWIE like Joey Essex, Sam Faiers and Gemma Collins, but I have met the likes of Lady Gaga, I recently went on her Artpop tour and I was backstage doing a selfie with her dog on a huge bed!"

He has also shot campaigns for Calvin Klein alongside Lara Stone, Pixie Geldof and Alice Dellal.

Yesterday, viewers saw Aaron enter the Big Brother house alongside fourteen others, including twins Amy and Sally Broadbent who briefly starred in TOWIE, X Factor reject Eileen Daly and 19-year-old Jack McDermott (aka 'Pie Face') who is already tipped as favourite to win.

Unbeknown to the housemates, Big Brother was already planning its first major twist - its first eviction - as the contestants arrived one-by-one.

When all 15 were safely inside the house, Big Brother asked viewers to pick five housemates to take part in its task.

The chosen housemates then had to stand behind a bomb that held their fate inside of it and unfortunately for Simon Gross, he was the first to fall victim to Big Brother, being evicted from the house just two hours after entering.

How cruel is that?!
