The fifth in line to the throne has yet to see the little princess in person as he left for Australia just before his sister-in-law Kate Middleton gave birth on Saturday, 2 May.
But speaking to reporters in Oz today, after meeting fans, he said: "I have been given a hell of a lot of cuddly toys from this morning and other things, so I am looking forward to meeting her. She is beautiful."
She definitely is!
No doubt Harry's first glimpse of his niece was a picture sent by brother William, but he'll also have seen the beautiful pictures of Kate, William and little Charlotte leaving the Lindo Wing together on Saturday.
Harry narrowly missed seeing his niece in person as he jetted back to Australia on 27 April, to resume his work with the Australian Army. He's not due back to the UK until mid May.
Meanwhile, Kate, William, Charlotte and Prince George are currently at the family's Anmer Hall estate at Sandringham, where they're expected to stay for several months.
