The former Hollyoaks actress is back on our screens in Emmerdale, playing Carly Hope, which means she's now a frequent fixture on the box.
But she told Daily Star that personal trainer Olly isn't overwhelmed by her fame.
"Olly is very chilled and mellow. He thinks me being on telly is quite funny but he's not bothered by the celeb thing," she said, adding she had to really plead with Olly to make him accompany her to the Soap Awards tis weekend.
Gemma – who looks amazing thanks to daily workouts with Olly – also revealed she's changed her lifestyle, especially since turning 30.
"I'm a different person now. Since turning 30 I feel more in touch with what I want and what I will and won't accept. I love being in Emmerdale and being home in less than 45 minutes. There's a power in saying 'No' and nights on the town are no longer a priority."
Gemma told Reveal earlier this year that she'd initially bonded with Olly over their love if fitness.
"I'd only been single for about five months when I met Olly. I wasn't looking to meet anyone or to get into a relationship. The reason I was starting a new fitness routine was so I could focus on myself.
"Then towards the end of my training with him, I started to miss him when I came away from the gym. Then one day I just said, "Look, are you going to ask me out for coffee or not?" Then we went out for a coffee after training and realised we both felt the same".
