TOWIE's Chloe Sims has said she isn't looking forward to having an "awkward" encounter with ex boyfriend Elliott Wright when they cross paths in Marbella.

At the end of the last series, Elliott asked Chloe to move to Spain with him as he prepared to launch his new restaurant abroad. Chloe said she couldn't imagine living in Essex without Elliott, but fans were left confused as to whether she and her daughter Madison would make the move abroad.

Now clearing up all speculation and speaking in a new video ahead of the summer series kicking off in Marbella, Chloe says she and Elliott are over for good.

Speaking at her Beauty Bar in Essex and sitting alongside co-star James 'Diags' Bennewith, Chloe says: "I didn't say I was definitely going. I think there's been a little bit of confusion. Obviously I'm not in Marbs, I'm in Essex.

"I'm not going to Marbs [to see Elliott]," she confirms. "I would say unfortunately but I'm quite happy about it. It didn't work out. I went on holiday and Elliott went to Spain, as you all know.

"There was an incident of going down my phone. Elliott was trying to connect my phone to Bluetooth, and while doing it he had a little sneaky look. He saw some messages that he didn't love, but at that point it was still alright."

Chloe says it was after her holiday that it all went wrong. "When I came back [from holiday] he wanted me to fly out to Alicante where he was. I couldn't because I had a meeting and that resulted in a big argument. He kicked off."

Chloe claims Elliott became "controlling again" as the messaging incident was brought up, which eventually led to the on-off couple splitting once more. Now, Chloe is thinking about what will happen once she bumps into Elliott in Marbs.

"I'm really p***ed off about this," she says. "Why can't we go somewhere else? Why Marbs? He'll 100 per cent be down there. He'll try to make me feel uncomfortable.

"I know it's over because he wrote me a long essay and I never replied, so we haven't spoken since, except for the awkward moment when Madison decided to FaceTime him."

Moving on from her relationship dramas, Chloe says she is going to try and remain positive and remember what it is she enjoys about being single. She declares: "I'm looking forward to going Marbs as a single girl."
