E! has announced that the special, titled Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce, will reveal intimate conversations Bruce had with his family about his transition.
The special, which will air this month, will feature Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick.
The two-parter will explore each family member's reaction to Bruce's admission, and it will also include family home video footage to show the viewer Bruce as a father, husband and friend.
Keeping up With the Kardashians: About Bruce will air on 17 and 18 May.
In addition to the two-part special, E! will also air an eight-episode documentary series following Bruce's new life as a transgender woman. The currently-untitled series is set to debut on 26 July.
Last month, former Olympian Bruce, 65, gave a two-hour interview to ABC News, in which he confirmed ongoing rumours that he is transitioning into a woman.
Speaking to Diane Sawyer, he said: "For all intents and purposes, I'm a woman. People look at me differently. They see you as this macho male, but my heart and my soul and everything that I do in life - it is part of me.
"That female side is part of me. That's who I am."
