The Keeping Up With The Kardashians was absent from Bruce's two-hour chat with the channel on Friday night, and viewers heard interviewer Diane Sawyer saying Kris had declined to comment.
Kris then said via Twitter that nobody had asked her.
In response to a tweet sent by Perez Hilton, she said: "F**k you, Perez. No one asked me to comment. And I'm sitting with Bruce now watching the show so let's keep it real LOL."
A statement to People later said: "Kris does not have official representation but a message was left at her office and she was asked for fact checking. Kris said she was unable to respond because she had not seen the special. She did not say, 'No comment."
ABC News, however, has said they DID get a no comment from Kris.
In a statement to People, a rep said: "ABC News sent an email to her publicity team more than once. They called and said no comment."
Kris' best friend Kathie Lee Gifford spoke out about the interview on the Today show earlier this week. She suggested the reason Bruce's other ex-wives had appeared was because they'd had longer to come to terms with the situation.
"Let's be honest. The other ladies, both fine women, had a longer time to get used to this. This was new to Kris. She's trying to get her act together, trying to be a good friend to him now. Trying to still be a great parent. It's complicated in ways we can't even comprehend. We send our love and prayers to Bruce and his family."
In the interview, Bruce confirmed ongoing speculation that he is transitioning into a woman.
Kris responded to the interview via Twitter, saying: "Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero."
