Kristen Stewart has described fame as the "worst thing in the world."

The notoriously private and camera shy actress told Harper's Bazaar that she can't understand why anybody would aspire to be famous – particularly if they don't have a skill.

She said: "Fame is the worst thing in the world. Especially if it's pointless. When people say, 'I want to be famous' – why? You don't do anything!"

Fame wasn't the only thing Kristen hit out at: the 25-year-old also spoke about filming sex scenes and admitted she hated the one she filmed with then-boyfriend Robert Pattinson in Twilight.

"I only hate them when they're contrived. That's when it's grotesquely uncomfortable. On Twilight we had to do the most epic sex scene of all time," she explained.

"It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, 'How do we live up to that? It was agony. Which sucks, because I wanted it to be so good."

Kristen's interview with Harper's Bazaar is in the June 2015 issue, available from tomorrow.
