Former X Factor judge Sharon was meeting a friend for lunch in Beverly Hills, looking casual in jeans, an oversized blue shirt and a red handbag.
The 62-year-old, along with her rocker husband Ozzy and their son Jack, had been working on a revamped version of their classic reality show, which was billed to air on VH1.
The family were set to give viewers a look at their life now, some 10 years after the show wrapped up.
However, an executive at VH1 confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter: "We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that's not going to happen. We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn't come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We'd love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future."
Sharon first announced news of The Osbournes reboot in November, saying at the time: "Our lives have changed so much, it's a kind of catch up, it's like what they're doing now. As I say it's not forever. No more than eight episodes."
The Osbournes originally aired on MTV between 2002 and 2005, and was an instant hit. It focused around the life of rocker Ozzy and the family's daily antics, struggles and triumphs in southern California.
