Taking to the photo-sharing site, the 35-year-old showed off her new tattoo - located just behind her ear - for all to see. Next to her photo, Caroline explained the reasoning behind her latest ink, saying: "Tattoo 4 waffle".

Currently soaking up the sunshine in LA, Caroline has been without her kitten for some time now. And last week, the starlet did admit she was missing her furry friend quite a lot.

She tweeted: "God I miss my cat! Is this normal? Am I [in] danger of becoming a crazy cat lady? Maybe I want to be one!!!!!!"

So coming up with the perfect solution to feel close to her cat again, Cazza then had its paw print etched onto her skin.

Caroline's latest inking will be her fifth, as she already hosts an impressive collection of body art - including a star in her ear, two linked hearts on her wrist and one tattoo she will "never talk about".

Last summer, the TV presenter had a huge butterfly tattooed onto her back. Caroline later revealed the pretty inking was to signify a new start and while staying in LA, she couldn't resist adding to its design.

Now, the words 'Carolina moon keep shining' can be seen just above the butterfly. Sharing a photo of her touched up tat, Caroline told fans where she had got the quote from: "Lovely words from a lovely person."

Caroline's trip to the tattoo parlour comes after it was recently announced she and Olly Murs will host the next series of The X Factor.

It had been widely speculated Cazza and Olly would reunite to front the show after Dermot O'Leary announced his X Factor exit, following his eight year stint presenting it.

Used to the show and its format, Caroline and Olly presented The Xtra Factor together for two years back in 2011. Now, the pair will be the first duo to host the main show.

Speaking about her new role, Caroline has said: "I'm beyond excited about presenting The X Factor with Olly. To have the privilege of doing this with someone who makes me laugh out loud is a massive bonus."

Olly, meanwhile, gushed: "I already have the best job in the world and it's about to get better - I can't wait to get started."

And we SO can't wait to see them in action!
