Take That kicked off their UK arena tour in Glasgow last night and captured the moment with an onstage selfie.

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald looked pretty chuffed as they posed with their microphones for a quick picture.

Sharing the photo with fans on Twitter, Gary said: "Our first night selfie on stage!!"

Take That's tour kicked off in spectacular style with a constant explosion of colour, puppetry, an underwater world, indoor rain and a flying tandem bike being just some of the props used during their performances.

Their mammoth 41-date arena tour will hit Belfast, Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield and London before moving on to Europe in the autumn.

The band added extra dates due to extraordinary demand after selling out initially in a matter of hours!

Yesterday Take That revealed 'Higher Than Higher' will be the third single to be released from their chart topping seventh album, III.

In other news, Gary recently confirmed plans to bring Take That's story to the West End.

Speaking to The Sun, Gary said: "The Take That musical has got to happen. I think it's a great story. I watched Jersey Boys and it's not too dissimilar to our story. I would love to get that on stage."
