Barriers set up for media.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace told MailOnline: "The Duke and Duchess have seen the news reports about these people camping out and they just wanted to let them know they were thinking of them.'

Many people have noted that the pastries box was wrapped in pink ribbon, wondering if it's a sign the royal couple are having a baby girl… Kate and William, however, have always said they don't know the sex of the child.
