Hawaii holds a special place in Nicole's heart as she was actually born in Honolulu and lived there until she was six-years-old. It's not surprising then that the former Pussycat Doll was more than excited to be back in her native, telling fans it's "good to be home".
Taking to Instagram, Nicole shared a photo of herself chilling out on the beach. In her snapshot, the 36-year-old looked gorgeous wearing a colourful jersey top and straw hat.
Alongside her snap, she said: "#beach #beer #maunakea pale ale #ohana #locals #sunset Good to be home...#Hawaii."
As well as catching up with friends and family no doubt, it seems Nicole's trip back home comes with a purpose too.
Recently, the 'Your Love' singer has been sharing photos on social media to help protect Mauna Kea - a sacred mountain in Hawaii.
Hoping to prevent construction happening on the mountain, she has been raising awareness, urging others to help her in its protection. Explaining the cause she is fighting for, Nicole told her followers: "This is about protecting Mother Nature and preserving her for future generations. We are protectors not protestors."
The starlet's break in Hawaii comes after Nicole recently made an appearance in London at the Olivier Awards.
She was nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress' for her role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's muscial Cats. While Nicole just missed out on taking home the gong, she did take to the stage to perform 'Memory' for the evening's guests.
Not to mention hanging out with Kevin Spacey backstage! Pretty cool, huh?!
Since wrapping up her theatre stint in the West End, Nicole has moved back to LA and has been working on a new show I Can Do That alongside Ciara and Joe Jonas.
