Harry, who is now part of supergroup McBusted, supported 1D earlier this year during their Australian 'On the Road Again Tour'.
Although McBusted have a massive fanbase of their own, the supergroup experienced the 1D phenomenom on the road.
Speaking in the latest issue of aTEEN, Harry says: "It was an amazing experience to be a small part of the 1D phenomenon for a few weeks.
"It was great having less pressure and going out each night with the challenge of winning over a crowd. Plus we finished at 8pm….bonus."
We must admit, that is a pretty good perk!
Praising 1D, who rose to fame after being grouped together on The X Factor in 2010, Harry adds: "1D aren't like most boy bands either, they have a bit of that anti-boyband vibe about them too which resonates."
It has been a difficult past month for One Direction following the exit of band member Zayn Malik, who said he wanted to live like a "normal 22-year-old".
Zayn made his first public appearance over the weekend at the Asian Awards, where he thanked his former bandmates.
Zayn, who won an award for 'Outstanding Achievement in Music', said: "I'd like to thank my mum and dad, and I'd also like to take this moment to thank four of the best guys I've ever met - everything I've done with them will stay with me for the rest of my life."
One Direction - Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - are continuing as a four-piece.
