Gary Barlow reckons Louis Walsh won't quit as a judge on The X Factor, despite the Irish entertainment manager saying he was "done" with the show.

Take That star Gary quit The X Factor as a judge in 2013 after three years on the show, but he says Louis - who has been the longest standing judge on the show - will not leave.

Louis Walsh has been the longest standing judge on The X Factor.

Famously, each and every year, speculation always falls to Louis and whether or not he will return to the show.

Speaking to The Sun, Gary said: "I can't see it. He'll be back a week before live auditions."

However, Gary said "change" for the show is good, adding: "It needs new people."

Last week, Louis said in an interview on the Seven O'Clock Show: "I think I'm done with X Factor. I've done 11 seasons. That's a long time on television.

Gary worked with Louis on the panel from 2010 - 2013.

"I think they're going to change the show," he continued. "I think they're going to get new faces. I think I'm done at X-Factor."

It's not the first time Louis has sparked speculation over his X Factor future, but is this really the end for him?

Simon Cowell confirmed to reporters at a Britain's Got Talent launch last week that he and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will be returning to the show, simply saying: "Cheryl and me are fine."

Elsewhere, last month Dermot O'Leary quit as host of the show after eight years. Former <em>X Factor contestant and ex-Xtra Factor host Olly Murs has been tipped to replace him alongside Caroline Flack.
