Six years after appearing on X Factor, the star is now aiming to make her mark on the charts with track 'Shy', co-penned by Rita.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, Stacey said: "I just can't believe she would even put her name to something I'm doing! It's such a privilege and a pleasure and I love singing it and it makes me really excited!"
Stacey said she still felt "lucky and privileged" to even be making an album, saying she never in her wildest dreams thought she would get the chance.
"I never in a million years dreamed I would be able to do that, let alone work with such incredible people. I knew I would try my hardest to achieve as much as I would want to achieve."
Stacey said she'd purposefully waited to release her album, as she didn't want to leave X Factor and immediately produce a covers record.
"I really wanted to get in the studio and actually write and be part of it and be creative, so I waited for that contract to come along. It took a while and when it did come along, I didn't want to rush it, so we just took our time."
'Shy' is the first single taken from her debut studio album of the same name.
Stacey became a household name when she finished third on the sixth series of X Factor. She went on to win the tenth series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and appear on The Jump.
She is dating The Jump co-star Steve-O.
