Marnie Simpson has revealed she would consider quitting Geordie Shore for the sake of her TOWIE star boyfriend Ricky Rayment.

Since they began dating earlier this year, Marnie has been completely smitten with Ricky, recently telling fans her new beau is her "life and her world".

And after being inseparable since getting together, the 22-year-old Geordie is already worrying about leaving Ricky to film the next series of the MTV reality show.

Marnie told The Mirror her blossoming romance is "100 percent" making her think about leaving Geordie Shore.

She said: "I love him and I don't want to put him through that torture of like, thinking about me, and I don't want to put myself through that."

Explaining she is already nervous at the thought of filming the show's next - and what would be eleventh - series, she added: "I'm not going to have any contact with Ricky for like two months and, for me, that's going to be so hard because I'm not going to be able to focus on what I'm supposed to be doing, because I'm going to be thinking about what he's doing."

While Marnie admits she will find it very difficult being without Ricky, she did say it would take a lot for her to leave the show that shot her to stardom.

Grateful for the opportunites the show has brought here since she joined in 2013, Marnie claimed Geordie Shore is the best thing that has ever happened to her.

"I couldn't thank [the show] enough, so I would never ever leave them," she said.

On Tuesday night (7 April), Marnie returned to our screens with the rest of the Geordie Shore gang for series 10 of the show. Viewers saw the starlet claim she was "in love" as she entered the house, telling her co-stars all about her ex-boyfriend Dan Sloane.

Fans were left slightly confused after seeing Marnie with Ricky for the last few months, and she was forced to explain the series was filmed before she had met the Essex boy.

After receiving negative comments online, Marnie hit back: "Yeah yeah it was filmed 4 months ago. I hadn't met ricky then. Just for all you confused ones out there."

In a second tweet, she added: "I thought I was in love.... I wasn't."

Ricky, meanwhile, didn't seem too phased at seeing his girlfriend loved-up with someone else on screen.

Taking to Twitter himself, he tweeted: "It was filmed 5 months ago.. She's mine now that's all that matters to me @Marniegshore."

That sure told 'em!
