Having shaped up and stopping drinking, the 26-year-old explains what's sparked his drastic change in lifestyle.
'And I told myself, the next time I had a girlfriend I'd be more serious, so it was about time I grew up'.
And on top of upping his exercise by going running and playing tennis almost everyday, Spencer also credits his decision to stop drinking for the noticeable changes in him.
'I haven't had a drink in 67 days and I'm not planning on touching it for six months,' Spencer says.
But whilst you'd assume that this means Spencer's bad boy days are behind him, he doesn't seem quite so convinced.
'I wouldn't rule it out forever - I could come back. As much as I love being in a loving relationship, it is boring being nice! I fancy going dark again at some point. It would be great to have some good, old-fashioned hissing scenes!' the MIC ex-lothario explains.
