Singer Zayn sensationally quit the boyband last week but his smiling waxwork still appears alongside his bandmates at the famous museum's branch in London.
Naturally, the museum is expecting the sight of the famous five together may spark serious tears among loyal fans so they've appointed a tissue attendant to help hand out hankies where needed.
It's not actually the first time Madame Tussauds have had to create this job: back in 2013, when the waxworks first went on display, more than 150 boxes of tissues where delivered to the premises and a tissue attendant appointed.
We're wondering how long Zayn's waxwork will remain grouped with the other boys: Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan.
After five chart topping years and global success, Zayn broke hearts by leaving 1D last week in order to escape the limelight.
My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart.
"I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world."
It has been noted, however, that now back in the UK, Zayn has been seen at the recording studios and is working with Naughty Boy.
So not exactly the normal life of a 22 year old!
