The reality star told the official website that she's enjoying getting to know Dan but is determined to take things slowly – which means no bedroom action just yet.
Viewers of the ITVBe show saw Jess and Dan going to Wales with a group of castmates on Sunday night's (29 March) episode but rather than sharing a room, they booked into two separate rooms.
Their nosy co-stars all began to wonder if they'd slept together yet – and when they would!
But as Jess told the official website, that won't be happening just yet: "It was nice to be with Dan and we had a laugh and got to know each other a bit better. I feel the need to do it in my own time. I don't want to rush into anything, like I've been saying from day dot anyway. I just want to take it slow."
On last night's episode, we saw Jess telling Ferne McCann that she didn't want to set a precedent that every time there was a hotel room, they would automatically jump into bed together.
"I'm not going to just say, 'Come into my bedroom in Wales!' I don't want to make it every time there is an opportunity for a hotel room I would have him in here and we'd have sex," said Jess.
"The whole of Wales and Essex are monitoring mine and Dan's non sex, sex life. When is it going to be? Calm down everyone!"
Dan, meanwhile, told pal Jake Hall: "I booked separate rooms trying to be a bit respectful but I didn't really expect them both to be used. I'm not insinuating anything was to happen. We have stayed together before and nothing happened.
"It's not like we just met. I understand she doesn't want to rush into anything, which is cool for me, it's fine. But it gets to that stage where is the next step? You can't kiss and cuddle forever."
