The couple, who come across as a down-to-earth pair, are said to be keeping true to their roots when they wed later this year.
Mark, 28, and Michelle, 27, will be serving either pie and mash or fish and chips for their guests, says The Sun.
According to the newspaper, former TOWIE star Mark and former Coronation Street actress Michelle will be keeping guests both side of the north-south divide happy with the dishes.
A source said: "They are both incredibly proud of their roots and want to celebrate where they came from."
Michelle, who is currently starring in BBC1 drama Ordinary Lies, recently spoke about her forthcoming wedding on Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
She told host Alan that she has really enjoyed planning her wedding and that she hasn't become a bridezilla.
She said: "I'm really chilled about everything to be fair, so I've been really relaxed. I knew I would be like that anyway but I've really enjoyed it."
Michelle also told Alan that she's already had a "pre-hen night" with her nearest and dearest...
"We went to a restaurant, and it was all the girls and it was really nice," she added.
However, Michelle did say that she is expecting to have a "raucous hen do" too.
Michelle and Mark will be having multiple hen and stag parties in multiple locations, including abroad.
