The 'Teenage Dream' went for a gothic look at the Los Angeles screening of Katy Perry: The Prismatic World Tour on Thursday night (26 March).
Katy told E! News her dark appearance was to reflect her sombre mood at her world tour drawing to a close, but she certainly didn't look that sombre while smiling on the red carpet, cuddling fans and taking selfies with those waiting outside.
The starlet kicked off her massive 'Prismatic World Tour' in Belfast, Northern Ireland last May, and has taken it all across the globe from the US to Australia to Europe to Asia.
She's currently on a break between shows, having wrapped the European leg of the production in Stockholm, Sweden on 22 March. She'll resume the shows in Guangzhou, China on 18 April, finishing the tour in Bangkok, Thailand on 14 May.
It's thought Katy's tour was the best-selling one by a female solo artist last year, with ticket sales of more than $150 million. WOW! But the charitable star showed her generous side by promising a portion of proceeds to charities including UNICEF and Autism Speaks.
The tour is in support of Katy's fourth studio album Prism, which contains tracks including the massive 'Roar' and singles 'Dark Horse' and 'This Is How We Do'.
