We had a chat with Aston at Rochelle Humes' Very Catwalk show last night (24 March), where Marvin Humes and Frankie Bridge were also in attendance.

Naturally, we couldn't resist quizzing him about his bezzie and the former TOWIE girl.

Aston gave us the lowdown on Louis and Lucy's relationship.

Talking about his pal's new relationship, Aston said: "It's really good! I haven't seen him for a while as I've been in LA for the past five weeks and haven't had a chance to properly catch up with him. But he's really happy and she's lovely."

Louis and Lucy make a very good looking couple, but Aston couldn't resist bantering about his mate, quipping: "He's done really well for himself. He's definitely punching above his weight!"

Cheeky! We wonder what Lucy has to say about that?

A few weeks ago, Aston revealed to fans he was recording music with fellow X Factor alumnus, Cher Lloyd. Speaking to Reveal about the collaboration, he explained: "We have the same manager, so it just made sense. I was in LA and she lives there, so we thought 'Why not?'. It's an amazing song."

The 'Beat Again' singer also had a lot of kind words to say about Cher. "She is absolutely incredible! The talent this girl has, has not been seen yet. I was blown away.

"Any perception anyone has ever had of Cher needs to be put it aside and wait for her new album. She's grown up now, she understands the whole thing and is switched on. It's all very exciting."

Sounds good! Aston is also working on his own album and told us that we can expect to hear something "probably in the next month or two". However, he was unable to tell us what the material will sound like: "I could, but until you hear it, it's not going to make any sense."

Despite Aston working his on own material and the other JLS boys - Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and JB Gill - all doing their own thing, the former band are still good pals.

"They're always around, we are never too far from each other. I live five minutes down the road from Marv and Rochelle. We're still family, we'll always support each other in everything we do."
