Celebrity Big Brother winner Katie has been nominated for the Straight Ally of the Year award alongside EastEnders star Danny Dyer, TV presenter Lorraine Kelly, Spice Girl Mel, TV chef Nigella Lawson and comedian Russell Brand.
Meanwhile, Olympic diver Tom leads the nominations, having been shortlisted for Sports Personality of the Year and the Global Gay Icon award alongside Joan Collins, Hillary Clinton and Kylie Minogue.
Elsewhere, Olly, Gaga, Sam Smith and Boy George are all in the running for the Music Icon award.
Dubbed Britain's 'gay Oscars', the awards ceremony sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland, will bring together gay celebrities and LGBT allies who will battle it out for a series of top gongs.
The 2015 awards ceremony will again be hosted by former Coronation Street actor Charlie Condou and Holby City actress Sophie Ward.
Charlie said: "The British LGBT Awards highlight the very best in established and emerging British LGBT talent as well as shine a light on the fantastic work of some of our most high profile straight allies across the globe.
"It has been a remarkable year for the visibility of LGBT people which is why the shortlist for each category is so strong. The British public can now vote for their favourite LGBT heroes online and I encourage everyone to take part to ensuring that the most deserving pick up the glitziest gong of the year."
The British LGBT Awards will take place on Friday 24 April at London's Landmark Hotel. For the full list of nominees and categories, please click here.
