The inspirational campaigner was back to work on Friday morning (20 March) despite only being released from hospital yesterday.
Katie, 31, looked beautiful in a pretty pale pink coat as she joined the likes of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen in opening the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court earlier this morning.
The author had a difficult week after having to miss daughter Belle's first birthday on 14 March as she was in hospital.
Katie has not revealed why she was getting medical treatment, only saying: "Thanks for all the birthday tweets for Belle! Unfortunately I'm in hospital but her dad tells me she's had a lovely party."
On 17 March she added: "Hoping tomorrow will be discharge day from hospital for me! 7 days without my daughter – feels so cut off!"
And finally, yesterday she was able to tweet: "Home with my babies :)"
Reports have suggested Katie – who became engaged in December - was recovering from another surgery to combat the awful effects of the acid attack she suffered at the hands of an ex-boyfriend in 2008.
Today she looked happy and healthy at Earls Court. She's also scheduled to appear at the annual home trade fair on Saturday, 21 March and Friday, 3 April.
Katie and her charity, The Katie Piper Foundation, will host a diversity catwalk show called 'Confidence – The Secret' at this year's event.
"I am honoured to launch the UK's first diversity catwalk at the Ideal Home Show and proud to showcase the brave and dedicated models taking part," she said. "I hope we find some truly inspiring people to join myself and my friends from the Katie Piper Foundation to take part in this every exciting event!"
