Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski will return as co-hosts of the show, which discusses the latest red carpet and every day fashion trends of Hollywood celebrities.
Network producer E! said in a statement: "E!'s comedy series Fashion Police is going on hiatus and will return in September.
"We look forward to taking this opportunity to refresh the show before the next awards season. Our talented co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, along with executive producer Melissa Rivers, will continue their roles as we evolve the show into its next chapter for the legions of Fashion Police fans around the world."
Giuliana has been on the show since its premiere in 2010, where she co-hosted alongside Joan Rivers, until her death in September last year.
Meanwhile, Brad joined Fashion Police in January, taking over from style guru George Kotsiopoulos.
News of Fashion Police's hiatus comes after a high-profile month for the show.
Original panellist Kelly Osbourne quit as co-host in February. Kelly's decision to leave came after the show was embroiled in controversy at the Oscars, as host Giuliana was forced to issue an apology to Disney star Zendaya after suggesting the actress' braids looked as if they smelled of weed and patchouli oil.
Two weeks after Kelly's departure, Kathy Griffin confirmed she had also quit the show.
The US comedian only joined the E! programme in January as a replacement for the late Joan Rivers, but she said it hadn't worked out as she thought it would.
