During last night's episode (15 March), Tommy strenuously denied allegations that he had been unfaithful, after James 'Diags' Bennewith claimed he had covered for Tommy when the pair were in Newcastle towards the end of last year.
Diags claimed Tommy stayed in a room with a girl, and not with him, as he had previously told Georgia.
Georgia confronted Tommy but she told him she "trusts him", while Tommy declared: "I know in my head what happened that night and I know I did go into that room and there was a bird in that room and I went and got into bed with Diags."
Now speaking on the official TOWIE website, Tommy said of Diags and his girlfriend Fran Parman: "It's just a bit of jealousy. Haters are going to hate, let them do it. I'd rather not talk about it. I know Georgia totally trusts me, we trust each other and we spend every day together.
"We've got a good thing going on. It's going to take more than two jealous people to kill it."
Even though viewers watched Tommy and Diags clash, Tommy said he still thinks highly of his co-star.
"I've never ever had a problem with Diags and I do think a lot of Diags and obviously he's sticking up for his girlfriend and I'm sticking up for my girlfriend," said Tommy. "People do it in different ways but at the end of the day, it is what it is to be honest with you.
"He can shout and scream and storm off as much as he wants, I'm just standing here laughing."
Georgia found out about the rumours from co-star Danielle Armstrong, and Tommy said Danielle is being a good friend.
He added: "I think Danni's being a true friend to Georgia by sitting her down and telling her otherwise she would have heard it from someone else, but it's nothing we never knew."
