While we were all still a bit stunned by Charlie's sudden decision to quit TOWIE, his sister Chloe appeared to put it out of her mind on Thursday night (12 March).
She was among the stars attending the Terrence Higgins Trust Gala Auction, which aims to maximize sexual health in the UK and minimize the spread of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases.
Chloe looked stunning in a figure hugging black skirt and matching crop top that flaunted her tum. She kept her hair tied back in an elegant topknot and finished the look with a statement pout.
"Had an amazing evening at the Terrence Higgins auction with @philipcbaldwin," she later tweeted. "Humbled by the people I met tonight."
Chloe made no reference to her brother on Twitter, instead focusing on the awareness-raising event.
Earlier in the day, Charlie announced he'd quit TOWIE, tweeting: "I won't be taking part anymore. It's time to grow up and move on. Wish everyone the best on the show."
Bosses later told us: "We haven't been able to film with Charlie for several days because he hasn't felt comfortable sharing his real life on camera and that is an essential part of being in TOWIE.
"As such we have decided he will no longer be part of the show; we agree that it wouldn't be right for him to continue and wish him well in the future."
Charlie also appeared to suggest he's through with Chloe and girlfriend Ferne McCann, saying: "So sad to not lose one but two people you love dearly to a TV show. Everyone can point the finger at me. But I have morals and dignity and some sort of self respect."
He added: "I wish Chloe and Ferne the best with their lives. But always live knowing you chose the show…"
Charlie and Chloe have been estranged lately and recent episodes of the Essex show have shown how upset Chloe has been because of it. If she was feeling sad about the latest turn of events last night, however, she kept it well hidden, instead focusing on the importance message of the gala auction.
TOWIE airs Wednesdays and Sundays at 10pm on ITVBe.
