The original castmember has just returned to the show following a period of suspension, where he sought treatment after experiencing a "dark phase" in life.
Now he's back and looking healthier and happier than ever…
That doesn't mean we'll be seeing a Mrs Arg anytime soon, though. He told the official TOWIE website: "I'm a fully fledged single man. I don't think there will be any romance on the horizon. You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else.
"I'm getting to where I want to be but I'm not quite there yet. But I'm doing a very good job."
Arg's return to the show hasn't been entirely smooth as it led to tensions between his ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright and her mum Debbie Douglas.
Lydia felt Debbie was too close to hard following their split.
She told her mum last night: "I found it hard over a long period of time of your and James' relationship and how close you are. I feel he's clinging on to the family in the hope we'll get back together. He has said some awful things to me. It was real difficult for me whilst we were arguing I knew he was sitting round here having cups of tea."
Debbie suggested that perhaps being so independent Lydia hadn't needed her as much as Arg did, and reassured Lyds that she would always be number one.
Later in the episode, Debbie told Arg she was so proud of how far he'd come but added the only time she and Lydia ever argued was over him.
She told Arg their relationship shouldn't be the way it is: "I have to look at boundaries and the lines I have to draw. I don't want you to have any more problems or need me or Lydia anymore."
