The Only Way Is Essex's Charlie Sims doesn't seem set to patch up his differences with sister Chloe just yet.

Charlie and TOWIE co-star Chloe have not spoken for several months due to an ongoing feud, and it appears the situation is not about to change.

Speaking in a new behind-the-scenes video on the official TOWIE website, Charlie insists that he and his elder sibling still need "space".

"It's been difficult, of course," Charlie explains. "There's been certain situations where I wish we were talking. Hopefully in the future we will, but I just feel like space is what we need."

He adds: "Hopefully, we can come to some sort of agreement about what was said and done in the past, but right now it's all a bit raw.

"Space is definitely the best thing for both of us."

Charlie and Chloe initially fell out over his relationship with Ferne McCann, but things have turned more sour since then.

Last night, Charlie discovered that Chloe had described her cousin Joey Essex as a "better brother", which obviously touched a raw nerve.

Talking in his video, Charlie continues: "I think things will sort themselves out. I've been in similar situations before where I've tried to force it, but unfortunately it doesn't work.

"I'm doing this through experience, because I've had quite a lot of it, so I'll see how it goes."

Meanwhile, Chloe has also given her side of the argument, saying that would like to meet up with Charlie but doesn't feel ready just yet.

In her own video, she explains: "I've had a few dramas, as you've seen. I went through an angry stage, then a sad stage, and now I'm just trying to keep away from drama and confrontation."
