Former Coronation Street actress Michelle is eyeing up a return to Albert Square following the appearance of Kathy Beale (played by Gillian Taylforth), who came back from the dead during EastEnders' live week.
Michelle told The Sun: "If Kathy Beale can go back, there's no reason why Cindy can't. It hasn't stopped them writing supposedly dead characters back in the past, so I'm sure they could make it work."
Cindy, who was the ex-wife of Ian Beale, died off-screen in 1998 during childbirth in prison. However, Michelle reckons Cindy could be resurrected, especially following the aftermath of Lucy Beale's murder.
Michelle continued: "I'd love to go back now. It'd be great for Lucy's mum to make a shocking reappearance."
Following her departure from EastEnders in 1998, Michelle starred in various dramas including The Last Detective and Doctor Who.
Michelle moved to rival soap Corrie in 2011, playing pub landlady Stella Price, but left the soap in 2014 after three years.
Last month, fans were left in shock as Gillian made a sensational return as Kathy, depsite viewers thinking she had died in a car accident back in 2006!
And, Kathy isn't the first character to come back from the dead, as Dirty Den and Nick Cotton have both previously been resurrected in the primetime soap.
