Liberty X singer Michelle underwent the major operation in the autumn in a bid to beat cancer and braved the cameras yesterday (3 March).
Michelle, along with fellow Big Reunion star Gareth Gates, is thought to be fronting a new fake tan brand and she admits Gareth was a big help in combating her nerves.
Sharing a picture of herself on Twitter, Michelle explained to her followers: "Getting ready to shoot my first bikini shoot post hysterectomy, bit nervous.."
The mum-of-two then posted a snap of herself and Gareth smiling together, adding: "But @Gareth_Gates making me laugh #Jc8."
In 2013, Michelle revealed that she had the BRCA2 mutated gene, meaning that she had a high risk of developing both breast and ovarian cancer.
In November of that year, Michelle had a double mastectomy to cut her chances of breast cancer and decided she would have her ovaries removed at a later date.
Since then, Michelle has given birth to her second child - son Aaron Jay (AJ for short) - and she eventually chose the best course of action would be to have a full hysterectomy.
Ahead of her operation, Michelle spoke out and said she had made the decision to have a hysterectomy for the sake of AJ and her eldest daughter Faith.
However, during the interview with Lorraine, she added: "So many women out there say to me I should feel very lucky that I've had two beautiful children and to just have the operation.
"I am thankful and I've never said I haven't been... still it's a very tough decision to get rid of my chance to have other children."
