Pregnant Fearne Cotton arrived for work at BBC Radio 1 this morning after admitting she'd been overwhelmed by the messages she's received from fans this week.

The blonde DJ sprang a double whammy of news on us last week: announcing she's pregnant with her second child and she's leaving Radio 1 after ten years on air.

Fans were quick to congratulate the star and wish her well, prompting Fearne to tweet: "So blown away by all these lovely messages."

Fearne and husband Jesse Wood are parents to son Rex, two.

In a statement posted to Fearne's official website on 27 February, we learned little Rex is going to become a big brother later this year!

"Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having another baby," said Fearne. "I feel extremely blessed and happy that Rex will be a big brother, and we get to welcome another Wood into the world."

She also revealed her decision to step down from Radio 1.

"After much time and careful thought I have decided to leave Radio 1 after ten amazing years.I have had the most incredible decade broadcasting on Radio 1, meeting wonderful people, helping break artists and watching live music from the world's best.

"However it is now time for a new chapter."

She will be replaced on the Live Lounge show by Clara Amfo.
