Dan Osborne has been told to stay away from the TOWIE set after reports claimed he was verbally abusive towards his ex-girlfriend.

Dan, who has just had a baby with EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, found himself in the headlines on the weekend after a video said to feature him emerged online.

In the clip, published by the The Sun On Sunday, the reality star is allegedly heard talking to ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin - mother of his son Teddy - on the phone last year.

Dan has been accused being threatening towards Megan in the expletive-heavy conversation, while also appearing to deny his relationship with Jacqueline.

A rep for Dan has declined to comment.

TOWIE boses, meanwhile, have confirmed they are investigating the reports, with a rep telling Reveal: "We are speaking to Dan about this incident and, in the meantime, he is not filming."

A source added that the word "suspension" had not been used.

Dreamboys stripper Dan became a dad for the second time on 15 February after Jacqueline gave birth to their daughter Ella.

On Sunday night's episode of TOWIE (1 March), Ella made her debut on the show, although Jacqueline has not appeared in front of the cameras.

Following the latest reports, the couple are putting on a united front. While Jacqueline has been joking with Dan to buy her a 'pushing present', he has shown off a new 'J' tattoo, which he has had done in her honour.

Reveal has contacted TOWIE for a comment.
