Last night, Arg made an emotional return to The Only Way Is Essex having been suspended from the ITVBe show in the autumn.
Following his suspension, Arg spent Christmas in rehab but has since emerged a changed man - both mentally and physically.
Speaking in last night's show, Arg admitted he had been in a "horrible and bad place", adding that he "nearly lost it all".
Following the episode, Mark - who found fame alongside Arg in TOWIE - took to Twitter to praise his friend. Alongside a grainy photograph of them both, Mark commented: "Proud of this boy's recovery!! @RealJamesArgent #BFF."
Mark isn't the only one to have praised Arg for his efforts. In fact, the jazz singer has been inundated with compliments online.
Elliott Wright, Mark's cousin, tweeted: "Welcome back!!! Mr @RealJamesArgent looking #Powerful #TowieSeries14 @OnlyWayIsEssex."
Georgia Kousoulou added: "Love seeing @RealJamesArgent back on our screens! Didn't feel the same without you! You're looking amazing."
But it was Lydia Bright's mother Debbie who posted the most touching message.
Speaking about her daughter's ex-boyfriend, she said: "I am so proud of @LydiaRoseBright and @RealJamesArgent, love you both so much.
"We often go through dark moments in our lives. It's important that we all realise it's in these times we grow the most."
