Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan looked gorgeous as she attended Tesco's Mum Of The Year Awards in London yesterday (1 March).

Stepping out for the first time since her ski accident last year, Ola proved she was very much on the road to recovery as she took to the red carpet.

Embracing summer early, Ola looked picture perfect in a bright yellow floor-length frock. Her sleeveless dress cinched in at the waist with a black band before falling into a long floaty skirt.

Late last year, Ola revamped her hair, dying her usually blonde tresses a chocolate brown colour. But it seems the professional dancer has already grown tired of her darker-hue, showcasing much lighter locks at this year's awards bash.

She styled her bonce into tousled curls, finishing her look with a glossy pout.

At the event, Ola was joined by her husband and former Celebrity Big Brother star James Jordan. It was the first time she has been pictured without her crutches.

Ola has said husband James has been her "rock" throughout her recovery.

In December, Ola suffered a knee injury while training for The Jump. After taking a fall while practicing on indoor slopes, the 32-year-old snapped a ligament in her left knee and there were concerns she may not dance again.

However, after undergoing knee surgery earlier this year, Ola has revealed she will be returning to the ballroom. Opening up about her accident on ITV's Lorraine last month, Ola said doctors have reassured her she will be back dancing and could possibly return for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

"I will [dance]," she revealed. "It's just going to take time unfortunately. My knee has to tell me if it is ready to dance basically, but hopefully I can soon."

Ola added: "My physio and my doctors have said I will be 100% ready for [Strictly]. I would love to be ready and I would love to be able to do the show again. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel now because I am getting better."

Admitting she struggled with sitting around and waiting for her knee to get better, Ola credited her other half for helping her throughout her recovery.

"James has been absolutely brilliant," she gushed. "He's been my rock."
