Ricky Rayment's girlfriend Marnie Simpson has warned TOWIE fans to "leave her alone" after being bombarded with nasty comments online.

Last night (1 March), Ricky was seen coming face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend Jessica Wright in the latest episode and, as a result, Marnie has fallen foul of trolling.

The Geordie Shore star posted a sad-face emotion on Twitter before telling her followers: "People are really awful these days. I can't cope. Why doesn't everyone just leave me the f*** alone?"

Marnie then hit back at one especially mean comment, which branded her a "Geordie bike". She blasted: "I've slept with 1 lad on Geordie Shore which is Gary... You idiot you need to calm down, have a vodka or sumit."

Before Christmas, Ricky and his TOWIE co-star Jessica Wright called time on their two-year relationship. But although things seemed amicable to begin with, they aren't any more...

Viewers last night saw the former couple coming to blows having bumped into each other while out dog walking - and Ricky's new relationship with Marnie, which began in January, was discussed.

While accusing Ricky of "constantly digging her out" on social media, Jess yelled: "You must be so bitter. You're an absolute t*sser who has no respect for anyone else or yourself.

"You are completely out of my life, so don't talk about me."

Defending himself, Ricky insisted that he has "moved on", but Jessica hit back: "You clearly haven't. Stop referring to me on the internet, barking on about your three-week relationship that you're going to marry, it's laughable. You, are laughable!"

After the episode had aired, Ricky took to Twitter and assured fans: "No more digs. No more tweets. #movingon."

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Essex, Dan Osborne and Jacqueline Jossa's baby daughter Ella made her TOWIE debut, while James 'Arg' Argent returned to the show following his suspension.
