Last night (1 March), Arg was seen in TOWIE for the first time since his suspension and he looked fitter, healthier and happier.
However, in a new Twitter post to fans, the reality star has admitted that he found himself overcome after stepping back in front of the cameras.
After the latest episode of the ITVBe show had aired, Arg tweeted: "I'm so happy and lucky to be back where I belong!
"My return and tonight's episode was emotional to say the least. Love you all, Arg #TOWIE x."

Jazz singer Arg was suspended from TOWIE in the autumn following several incidents of concerning behaviour.
In August, Arg first sparked alarm when he failed to turn up for a scheduled flight to Majorca, ahead of a club appearance. The Met Police even launched a missing persons' appeal before Arg was found asleep in a hotel room.
Two months later, Arg was caught on camera having drunkenly vomited down his T-shirt while on a plane to Ibiza with his co-stars. Soon after, TOWIE bosses took the step of suspending him from the rest of the series and the Christmas special.
Following his suspension, Arg spent Christmas in rehab and has since emerged looking much fitter and healthier. He is following a new fitness regime, which has impressed his co-stars.
Last month, ahead of the series 14 launch, Lydia Bright and Elliott Wright spoke out and said they and their cast mates were "praying" he would be able to return to TOWIE.
Well, last night Lydia was seen coming face-to-face with her ex-boyfriend at her Full Moon party.
Speaking outside, Arg told Lydia: "After everything that happened, I want to say sorry Lydia. I've put you through so much."
He added: "It's my fault, but at the moment, me having contact with you is a bit negative on my life. I think it's a good idea that you do your thing and I do my thing. I'm going to take a big step back.
"It's the right thing for you and the right thing for myself."
Although Lydia was teary and admitted that it was "sad", she agreed that they should both focus on moving forward with their lives.
Following the show, Lydia tweeted: "Welcome back @RealJamesArgent very proud of your return."
