The TOWIE star, 34, lasted just three days in the jungle when she took part in the ITV show last year.
At the time, some questioned whether Gemma deserved her fee, but the reality TV star always maintained she would donate any payment to charity.
In an interview at the time, Gemma said: "I didn't collect my full fee. I was given a percentage which is going to a charity for starving children."
Gemma said she'd been inspired to use the money to help the hungry after battling with hunger herself in the Australian jungle.
Now, three months later, Gemma has shown fans proof that her £4,800 payment has been given to Save The Children.
Alongside a letter from the charity thanking her for the generous donation, Gemma wrote: "Pleasure to have donated my jungle fee to such an amazing charity x #savethechildren."
Fans were quick to show their support for Gemma's decision.
One said: "Credit where credit is due good on you for this!"
Another wrote: "Definitely gained alot of respect from me. Nice one babe xx."
Gemma even retweeted one fellow Twitter user who had said: "Well done to @missgemcollins for donating her jungle find to @SavetheChildren #humble."
Save the Children UK themselves tweeted: "@missgemcollins thanks again, Gemma! Your donation really will save children's lives around the world. :)."
